The Steel Authority of India Limited’s (Sail) Bokaro Steel Plant in Jharkhand has dispatched its first export consignment of 12,000mt of prime mild Steel Non-Alloy HR coil European grade EN 10025-2S235JR to Italy. This was conveyed by the state-owned company via a tweet recently.
The company’s second consignment is expected to be dispatched next month.
In April 2020-February 2021, Italy stood fourth among top destinations where India exports finished steel with 0.752mn mt exports.
