Spearmint Resources reached an options agreement for the purchase of the 2,000 acres of land that make up the Green Clay Lithium Project, the Canadian company announced today in a statement.

 

The mining development is in Clayton Valley, Nevada, United States, and the first drilling phases indicate the existence of 1mn mt of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE); however, the company announced a third phase of exploration, to update projections.

 

James Nelson, president, Spearmint Resources, assured that Green Clay Lithium Project is ideal for extracting this mineral in North America and added that operations schedules will be disclosed as soon as possible.
