Italian steel pipes maker Tenaris will deliver over 900mt of steel pipes for Lukoil’s Yoti Oeste-1Exp offshore project in Mexico.
Lukoil noted in a statement on Monday that the pipes will be manufactured in Tenaris’ Mexico and Italy mills and will comprise TenarisHydril 523 and 513 wedges, blue and blue quick seal connections, using the company’s trademark Dopeless technology.
Tenaris will utilize its Rig Technology service model to plan and trace each pipe in real-time and provide on-site technical assistance. This is Lukoil first project in Mexico.
