TISCO’s stainless steel output to reach 4.2mt in 2019 almost similar to production in 2018 as the company focuses on reducing emissions and improving efficiencies.

 

TISCO has partnered with Baowu Iron and Steel Group to seek cooperation from Shandong Xinhai to collaborate in the fields of stainless steel, nickel-chromium resources, new materials and new energy. TISCO plans to start a new plate production line for which construction is expected to begin in 2020. The company will also complete up-gradation of its stainless steel wire rod plant in 2020.

 

The steelmaker aims to reduce emissions by 70pc in 2020 compared to its emissions in 2018 and focus on clean production.
