The weekly Davis Index for DKP scrap (equivalent to auto bundles) in Turkey increased by TRY137/mt to TRY4,121/mt ($490/mt) delivered on Monday as most mills raised their purchase prices.
Colakoglu Metalurji and Erdemir lifted purchase prices for the DKP grade by TRY130/mt to TRY4,280/mt delivered and TRY4,340/mt delivered, respectively, on Jun 9. Isdemir increased its purchase price for the same grade by TRY300/mt to TRY4,205/mt delivered.
Diler Demir Celik raised its purchase price for DKP scrap by TRY120/mt to TRY3,970/mt delivered, while Kroman lifted it by TRY200/mt to TRY4,000/mt delivered.
Kardemir kept its purchase price for DKP grade unchanged at TRY4,280/mt delivered.
Purchase prices for shipbreaking scrap in the Izmir region remained unchanged at $480/mt delivered for the third successive week.
