Ukraine’s Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade (ICMT) has launched an anti-dumping (AD) investigation against the import of Chinese coated carbon steel rolled products, according to media reports.
The decision was taken in view of a complaint filed by domestic steel manufacturer LLC Module-Ukraine and the report and conclusions of the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine.
The products involved were flat-rolled products of carbon steel, clad, galvanized, or other coated, classified in subheadings 721070, 721090, and 721240, according to UKTVED.
The commission found that there was enough confirmed evidence due to which, it can be assumed that the import of the said type of rolled metal from China to Ukraine could be carried out at dumping prices and affect the sales of domestic companies.
