The US Department of Commerce has found that exporters of hot-rolled steel products from Turkey sold the material at less-than-fair value between October 1, 2018, and September 30, 2019.
The department indicated in a notification on Feb 17 that it was levying a preliminary antidumping duty (AD) of 21.48pc on four Turkish exporters—Habas Sinai ve Tibbi Gazlar Istihsal Endustrisi, Cag Celik Demir ve Celik Habas Industrial and Medical Gases Production, MMK Atakas Metalurji, and Ozkan Iron and Steel.
The notification states that the final results of the review will be published within 120 days of the preliminary notification, giving time to various respondents to raise any issue with these rates through written briefs.
