Superalloy prices were mostly flat on Thursday, following downward trending LME nickel prices through the week. 


The weekly Davis Index for Hastelloy C was flat at $5.24/lb /lb delivered processor yard and unchanged for Hastelloy X at $3.79/lb for single truckloads. 


Inconel 600 rose remained at $4.94/lb delivered and was flat for Inconel 601 at $4.10/lb delivered processor yard.


Inconel 617 Vac was flat at $3.74/lb delivered and grew for Inconel 625 Vac by 11¢/lb to $4.92/lb delivered processor yard. The index for Inconel 718 Vac also remained unchanged at $3.78/lb delivered processor yard. 


The official LME Nickel cash contract closed Thursday at $17,783/mt, down by $162/mt from $17,945/mt on Jun 3.


Superalloy prices remained unaffected and balanced with steady demand similar to stainless steel even though LME nickel prices continue to fall.
